Tulip Festival

To celebrate Dan's graduation we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point Gardens! It was really beautiful and even though it was a little chilly it was totally worth it!

Graduation!

Dan graduated this week in Environmental Soil Science from BYU! He didn't actually walk, I am hoping to convince him to walk when he gets his Masters Degree but we will have to see! We were able to score a hat and gown for Dan to pose in for 'graduation pics' for the scrapbook!

Sunday Shakes!

We decided to make gourmet shakes today! We added mangos, strawberries, bannas, and kiwis! Yummy!

A New Member to Our Family!

Dan and I recently got a new car! Our new baby is a 2005 Hyundai Accent.

We needed something more reliable to drive to California.

My First Quilt!

A couple of months ago our wards relief society decided to do 'I Spy Quilts'. I made 36 identical pieced squares and so did the rest of the women, then we got together and swapped squares. All of the prints are fun objects that kids could identify! I thought that conference weekend would be a great time to start quilting it! I am not tieing it, I am actually quilting it! After I started quilting I realized how much work it was going to be! Luckily Dan learned how to quilt in his younger years, and he offered to help. After about 30 mins of quilting he said that he was sick of quilting. I asked why he got tired so fast if he had quilted before? He said that when he was younger he would come and quilt awhile, then Mom would take over and finish for him! I thought that was cute! To say the least, Dan has put in over 5 hours of quilting so far!

Conference Breakfast

For Conference breakfast Dan made waffles with ice cream, strawberries, and wipped cream! And to counter the sugar we also had sausages! We love Conference breakfast!
