Pumpkins, Pizza, and Halloween Stores!

Dan was able to get us some free pumpkins from a research field at UCR so we thought we would get together with our friends, Seth and Cindy, and try out our carving skills!

Step 1: Cut the top off of your pumpkin.

Step 2: Scoop the yucky innards out!Step 3: Carve the pumpkin. This was our first time using a pattern!

Step 4: Put a candle in your pumpkin, turn off the lights, and see if tell what object you carved! It is kind of a blurry picture, but ours is the skeleton a pirate on the right and Seth and Cindy's is the witch stiring a pot on the left!

The night also involved Papa Johns pizza, our all time favorite!
We also decided to go check out a local halloween store. Cindy and I found some funky classes!
And Dan found a cool mask!

Halloween Fun!

Dan and I went with a group of friends to a haunted house in Pamona. We had a couple of scary moments! I am not a big fan of scary things, but I had a lot of fun and it got me in the mood for Halloween!

Our Baby's First Picture

Today was my first OB appointment! Dan and I were able to see our tiny baby for the first time and hear the heartbeat! Here is the ultrasound, the baby isn't very big so we drew an arrow to show you where it is! This is so much fun!

We are Expecting!

Dan and I couldn't hold in our good news any longer! I am two months pregnant. So yes, this picture is totally a stuffed shirt picture, but we thought it would be fun to pretend how I will look in a couple of months:) The due date is May 25th. So far so good on the pregnancy thing, I haven't been sick at all, I am feeling pretty fortunate. We are excited for our new adventure!

General Conference

This was the first General Conference in which Dan and I weren't in Utah. It was definitely different not to be able to just turn on the TV or Radio and listen to Conference. Lucky for us we have internet at home and were able to watch it that way instead of having to go to the Stake Center. We thought it would be fun to have a conference treat so we tried out a new recipe called 'Rocky Road Bars'!
