Our Second Baby Appointment!

We had our second doctors appointment today. Here is what our little baby looks like! It was really hard for the doctor to get a good picture because the baby just wouldn't hold still! We had a hard time labeling the picture so I will try to describe what you are looking at. On the left side is the head, it is a little blury becuase of our active baby! Then in the middle is the body, above you can see a little arm and below the body is a leg, you can see that the baby is bending its knees! This is so much fun! I still can't believe that this little human being is inside of me!

Kinda like Christmas...

So last night, as you all know, was the big night for hearing about all of the ballot results. I have been super tired at night and usually go to bed around 8 or 9pm, pathetic I know! So all night I kept waking up wondering if Proposition 8 had passed. Finally I woke up at 6am, realizing that it wasn't too early, I jumped out of bed to see the results! To my great relief Proposition 8 had passed! (It was 52% for and 48% against, so a really close race) It honestly felt a lot like Christmas with the longing all night and the wonderful news in the morning! I am just so thankful that all of our campaigning has paid off and that the right has been able to prevail. For the last two days Dan and I have spent a couple of hours on street corners with prop 8 signs, it was really fun! We got a couple of nasty people passing by, but for the most part people would honk and give us a thumbs up. I was sad I didn't get a picture of us in action, we were busier doing better things!

Trunk or Treat

I finally got a couple of minutes to post some pictures from our wards 'Trunk or Treat'! Cindy and I decided to combine trunks to be a little more creative. It ended up looking really good, we even got all of our stuff from the 99 cent store!

My friend from work decided to bring her family to the party! Here is Gena and her son DJ. He is dressed up as Jimmy Johnson the race car driver! The ward gave out 3 awards for best trunk and Cindy and I got one of them! The prize was a little mickey mouse pumpkin candle holder. Don't know what we are going to do with it, but we felt good about winning something! On top the trunk or treat action, the young men put on a pretty cool spook alley!
