Sweet Potatoes & Grass

Jack had his first food this week! We started him out on rice cereal for a couple of days then he had some sweet potatoes! I love his messy face!

Sunday was a really nice day so we decided to hang out in our front yard. Shield your eyes, Jack is a white little boy!

Jack was having fun touching the grass. Before we could stop him he had put some in his mouth! So yes, Jack experienced his first sweet potatoes and grass this week :)

100 Degrees and Football?

We were able to get 10$ tickets to the UCLA vs. Cal game on Saturday so we decided to go to the Rose Bowl! There was a bus that took us from our parking to the stadium. Jack experienced his first public transportation. He loved to smile at people around him :)
It was really hot at the game. Football definitely isn't the same in 100 degree weather. We lathered Jack up with sunscreen, plus we got lucky and had the sun to our backs so we were able to shade him.

We had a lot of fun, but at the end of the day we were all pooped!

Cake Decorating

To my dismay, my cake decorating class is over. This was my cake from last week. We celebrated Boss Day at work today and I was asked to make one of my cakes. It was fun to have an excuse to whip out another cake!

Never too young (or too old) to wrestle!

Jack likes to wrestle, or be wrestled I should say, by his dad! I often get looks of desparation that say, "help me mommy!"

But in the end Jack always wins :)
