Muse Concert

What could be better than a Muse Concert on a week night? Answer: I sure can't think of anything. Dan and I had a great date night in Anaheim tonight watching one of our favorite bands! They definitely played one sweet concert, halfway through the concert Dan turned to me and yelled, "I think I just lost 5 years of hearing, but its sooo worth it!" I agreed!

Family in Town

We had family come into town last week and stayed for a couple of days. We had action packed week and tons of fun!

We hiked Mt. Rubidoux and watched the sun set.

We went to the beach.

We visited the Mission Inn.

We took the train into L.A. and visited Olvera Street and China Town.

It was the first time that all of the boy cousins have been together. They were so cute in their Sunday clothes!

We spent two magical days in Disneyland.

Jack loved the Dumbo ride! He liked to say, "Weeeeee" on the rides. It made us laugh.

All Done!

After 2 months time and miles tread on my sewing machine I have finally finished Jack's quiet book! I am so proud of this little book because I am not necessarily the crafty creative type. However, thanks to collaborating with family & friends and Jack's long naps, I have finished! Each page is double sided with activities and the pages can be taken off the rings. I loved that it could be a book or when I have more than one kid, I can hand out individual pages! I can also add to my book when I want to. I did the pages on Muslin and between the double sided pages I placed two pages of heavy pellon.

Velcro on butterfly, flowers,caterpillar / Write notes and put into mailbox and raise or lower flag
Velcro on stop sign, yield sign, traffic light. Drive the motorcycle around and park in garage.

Jack thought it was pretty cool. He kept saying, "wow, wow"! Hopefully it is cool enough to entertain him in sacrament meeting for awhile :)

Labor Day Weekend

We decided to take a road trip up to Northern California for Labor Day Weekend! We stayed with Dan's brother and his family. Jack had his first Happy Meal on our road trip :) Jack had lots of fun hanging out with his two cousins, Eric and Jared!

We visited Yosemite National Park. It was a amazing in person (even though a lot of the waterfalls were all dried up), pictures don't do it justice. Such cute little rock climbers! Waiting for the Shuttle... Like his Dad, Jack loves to play with dirt!

We took a 5 mile hike to see the huge Sequoia trees. Jack and I checking out the roots of a fallen tree. Dan was getting a little too adventurous with Jack on his back! Man, Jack had it rough on our hike.

We were almost done with our long hike and we were all tired so to keep us going Jack and I started cheering for our daddy!
