This weekend we had the Rowley family come from Riverside to visit us! We went and checked out the Monterey Bay Aquarium. 
Jack had so much fun hanging out with his old buddies again :)

We got to watch a scuba diver feed the fish. She had a microphone on her and was able to talk to us during the presentation.
Jack loved to get his hands wet and feel all of the different fish in the tide pools. 
There was a little room you could stand in and they would simulate waves right over you! The boys thought it was awesome!
We have always wanted to drive down Hwy 1 which runs parallel to the coast. The next day we drove about 20 miles of it and then started seeing closure signs! Yep, they totally closed the Highway, there is no other road to detour on so we had to turn around and head back. Later we found out that there was a massive rock slide and 100 ft of road fell into the ocean, so yeah the road was definitely closed! We were a little sad, however the 20 miles we did get to see were amazing. Pictures are so disappointing, they just don't do justice to they whole experience. But they are all we have so enjoy!

We heard about the land slide! We've been fortunate enough to drive all the way from Monterey back down here. It is beautiful, but it takes a long time!
I love Jacks face when he's near the ocean. So cute!
I love Monterey. It's so beautiful there! And It's hard to go to the Long Beach Aquarium once you've been to the one in Monterey!
