We ventured as far south as Mexico. It was my first experience leaving the country. And Tijuana was quite the adventure! 
This is us in Mexico. If you look on the right in the pic below you can see a Mexican flag. It may look small in the picture, but in really life it was huge!
We paid $1.50 to go to a wax museum in Tijuana. Behind us we have some celebrities in wax form. See if you can pick out Mel Gibson, Sylvester Stalone, Whoopi Golberg, Bill Cosby, and Wesley Snipes.
We dared to eat lunch in TJ, we just had to for the whole experience. This place on the street where we ate was pretty gross. Lets just say that I am glad that the US has sanitation laws and regulations. But the tacos were really good!

Is that the Red Lion?!?!? We stayed there when we went to San Diego on our honeymoon! It's a great hotel!!!! I want to go eat an authentic Mexican taco! It looks delicious! What a cool adventure! I love to see the pictures!
The hotel was called Crowne Plaza, that is funny that they looked that alike!
